Oof, I have been waiting for some time to hit ‘publish’ on this blog post. I am so thrilled to finally reveal the cover of Dog Park, our first game coming to Kickstarter this September.
The creative genius that is Dann May is responsible for the art direction and graphic design on the cover. The watercolour dogs are the work of Holly Exley, and the watercolour landscape was created by Kate Avery. The creative team working on Dog Park is so incredibly talented I spend quite a bit of my time pinching myself.
Holly painted the Australian Shepherd especially for the box cover as we wanted our hero dog to be politely (but insistently!) asking players if they would like to go for a walk. I don’t know about you, but I would find it impossible to refuse those blue eyes and that grinning mouth. Besides the Aussie, the rest of the dog art features in the game on each dog’s individual card. Are you able to name the other breeds on the box? Tweet us your answers!
