This game is a perfect intro game to new board gamers!! I love playing many board games and this is a great gateway game to show new players. Specially if they're dog people. I'm a cat person but this game is just so dang cute. 5/5 for me.
I bought this game due to solo play (plus, you know, it has dogs!). It is such a fun simple game to learn and the solo play is so easy and makes it so fun to play. The artistry is beautiful and I have highly enjoyed playing!
I acquired this game because we’re big dog fans in the family. The artwork and pieces are lovely (especially the adorable dog meeples). I’m playing it solo as well, as am impressed with the clever solo mechanics. A great little 25 minute game.
After I play a game I often think about how many more times I’d like to play it which would lead to if I would ultimately trade or sell it. I also love games that I lose the first time I play. It means there is room for improvement which also leads to if and how many more times I would play it. I also think about accessibility to my elderly uncle and my 8 year old daughter. This game has hit on all the above points. My 8 year old has beat me as well as my uncle which again, means room for improvement. This game is well themed, although an abstract game at heart. If you love dogs, the theme simply adds to the aesthetics of the game. This game will hit my table for a very long time. It’s easy to set up and it’s easy to pickup again after not playing for a while. And the puzzle gameplay is so very satisfying. I own their first game Dog Park but I have to say…. This one would stay in my collection over that one if I had to choose because of the above reasons. What a delightful game. If you like dogs and you like puzzly point grabbing games this one is for you!
